October in the Netherlands is our brief time to enjoy Fall before Winter sets in. In that little bit of time, I try to enjoy the fall leaves and such, but also prepare for the oncoming cold. The music I picked this time should help.

Royal Blood: Back To The Water Below

I picked an album from Royal Blood before, but this one is more recent and also very good. I think this album is even better as the band is steadily improving. It's good, high energy music and you should give it a listen, I don't know what else to say.

Cheap 52: Vermont

Cheap 52's musics with lots of guitar and grown-up venting. I say grown-up because this doesn't sound like the angtsy stuff I listened to in high school. This is more the vented frustration of an adult who's seen things.

Lizzy McAlpine: five seconds flat

If energetic music doesn't work, then possibly a warm singing voice will do the trick. It's a very different vibe than the other selections this month, so in case you're not into those, give this a try.
